Logic Technology Development (LTD) is responsible for developing advanced silicon process technologies and high-volume silicon manufacturing. The Technology Development, TD Sort Test Group supports electrical test on both wafer and the packaged units of test vehicles used to develop these technologies. This includes supporting many advanced TD programs simultaneously and developing content for the Sort, Class and Burn-In platforms.

As a Product Development Engineer your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Development test programs for a variety of circuits on LTD test chips.

  • Test development includes a variety of test circuits including Static Random Access Memory , SRAM; Dynamic Random Access Memory, DRAM; ROM, RF, SCAN, GT, IA, etc.

  • Responsible for all aspects of test development including pattern and test development pre-silicon validation and post-silicon debug

  • This group works closely with their TD design Validation, Yield and Quality and Reliability engineers to define and validate test requirements.

  • Will work both within the group and with customers to drive improvements to design for test methodology and operations.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work, classes, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering or equivalent field of studies. Must have the degree within 3 months.


Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in the following:

  • Electrical test equipment and instrumentation, Design for Test (DFT), Device physics and characterization, Digital logic and circuit analysis.

  • Developing code (i.e. C++) or scripts (Perl, JSL, Python).
