Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) currently has an excellent growth opportunity for a Logistics Specialist with our dynamic Global Supply Chain team. In this role, you will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of the Shipping/Traffic functions for both operations and engineering materials. Business planning framework responsible for making sure products reach their destinations safely, securely, and on-time. Part of supply chain management in charge of governing transportation efforts.
You will be tasked with managing multiple types of shipments and direct personnel on associated tasks. The day to day responsibilities listed below are necessary in order to meet program costs and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Meeting on time deliverables including program costs and scheduling requirements. Organize transportation activities, including managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule Prioritizing daily workloads Communicating directly with internal and external customers Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes Consistently maintaining a safe work environment
Required Skills:
Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a logistics, supply chain or related field This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Education (including Major):
4 year degree from an accredited University in Business Administration, Business Management, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain or related field applicable to the job function
