Whole Life Engineering (WLE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. WLE consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our WLE disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.

Job Summary:
Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) is actively seeking a Logistics Specialist who will be an important member of a customer-driven team. In this role, you will use your influential communication skills, your ability to develop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation and your ability to work across teams and disciplines to build consensus and work to deadlines.

Your general responsibilities will include:
Developing Logistics Management Information data
Interpreting engineering drawings and mark-ups for use in the development of Logistics Product Databases (LPD), Maintenance Allocation Charts (MAC), and Level of Repair Analyses (LORA)
Preparing provisioning documentation aligned with customer provided standards
Participating in customer reviews, validations and/or verifications

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Participate in the development and sustainment of technical manual products for Army customer
Developing superior logistics databases in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2b, customer provided instructions and corporate policies and processes.
Assisting in building an acquisition Logistics Product Database (LPD), using existing engineering drawings for an Army customer:
Using your knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support processes and database development to
Assisting in challenging Logistics Supportability Planning and Procedures for an Army customer
Managing multiple deadlines and priorities within specified time frames.

This role will require approximately 10% travel.

This position can be a Grade G07 or Grade G08 based on the candidates qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

An advanced degree can be substituted for additional years of experience as follows:
Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.


Qualifications You Must Have:
Education: Bachelors Degree. An additional 2 years of relevant professional experience may be substituted for each 1 year of college.

Employment Experience:
2+ years Logistics experience in a military or civilian environment
Experience working with relational databases

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:
2+ years experience working with engineering drawings, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
Experience creating and updating Technical Manuals using Arbortext Editor Software

Core Depot Analysis experience
MIL-STD-1388-2b and GEIA-0007

Experience using Oracle databases
Packaging requirements experience
Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL) experience
Strong commitment to quality
Detailed-oriented, but also able to understand complex ideas and communicate the bigger picture
Ability to work in a high-functioning team setting and successfully navigate a fast-paced, challenging environment
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong decision-making ability
Can work with complex subject matters, both independently and on a high-functioning team
