The Video Operations group, part of Apple Media Products, is seeking a Localization Specialist focusing on finance within our Video Services Localization Team. In this role the Localization Specialist maintains and organizes incoming cost estimates, creating and supplying the proper documentation and approvals, successfully tracking the localization financial footprint of each of the Apple TV+ shows. This person will collaborate with our international post production partners, as well as our internal procurement and finance business partners, in the financial planning, approval, and accrual of localization costs for our ATV+ shows. A blend of business and Localization knowledge, as well as project management is meaningful to success in this role.

The Video Operations team focuses on creating the premiere video experience for all content types, with impact throughout the industry, for a worldwide digital audience. Ideal candidates are not only passionate about entertainment, but also care deeply about the customer experience, and can contribute to a diverse organization with expertise in Partner Relations, TV App Services, Video Services, Music Video Content, Technical Operations, and Quality Control.

Our responsibilities include working with distribution partners, ingestion of all video, audio, and ancillary assets, collaborating with developers on integration into our platforms & services, along with supporting localization, accessibility, quality control and more. Key Qualifications

• You have knowledge of Financial and Business processes, as it pertains to Localization and International Post Production.
• You have at least 5 to 7years working in the studio/entertainment industry.
• You have advanced knowledge of video and audio localization servicing workflows (foreign language subtitles, SDH, captions and dubbing) and currently hold relationships with Dubbing Studios and International Post Production Partners.
• You are collaborative, organized and a great teammate.
• You work well under pressure and with tight turnaround times.
• You are results-oriented, upbeat and focused with a strong passion to learn and succeed.
• You are a self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
• You are extraordinarily detail oriented, while able to keep sight of the 'big picture'.
• You have a passion for innovation and automation in an effort to improve processes.
• You have the ability to work comfortably with high level of ambiguity and complexity.

The Localization Specialist will be responsible for the following:
You will onboard New International Post Production Partners.
Review and Track Cost Estimates.
Create Purchase Requests for Localization Services.
Manage Purchase Order Tracking and Distribution to Studios.
Undergo the Final reconciliation of invoices for approval and payment.
Monitor incoming project expenditures in order to confirm budgets are met.
Partner with our Finance team in the Auditing and Accruals process, calling attention to discrepancies and ensure spend is lining up to forecast.
You will Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to discuss and create cross functional efficiencies.
You will Continuously evaluate and revise processes to scale and adapt to an ever growing business.
You will oversee the Management of Special Projects as needed.

Education & Experience

College education preferred. plus 5 to 7 years industry related experience.
