A successful candidate will develop highly creative, nonstandard Linux device drivers that establish complex synthetic scenarios; these scenarios are used to exercise new silicon components and make Intel products ready for release as rapidly as possible.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelors' degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience OR a Masters' degree with 3+ years of experience in:

  • Product quality software development in C/C++ on Linux

  • Algorithms, data structures and design patterns

  • Excellent software design/architecture skills

  • Experience with driver development

  • Experience in using scripting languages eg. Python BASH


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern processors and system architecture including assembly level programming

  • Experience in leading large scale object-oriented application development

  • Experience with Intel silicon and platform validation concepts and methodologies

  • Hardware and Software validation debugging experience

  • Experience with kernel development
