The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department at Imperial College London is ranked among the top 10 departments in the field worldwide, home to more than 50 faculty members who contribute world-leading research ranging from control theory, power systems, electronic circuits, semiconductor and computer hardware to communications, signal processing, machine learning, computer vision and robotics.
The Department is soliciting applications for a faculty position at the Lecturer level (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in Wireless Communications and Systems.
We seek top-level applicants with research interests in the broad area of future-generation wireless communications and systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, multi-antenna systems, physical-layer security, RF transceivers, interference mitigation, signal and information processing, machine-learning techniques for wireless systems, cross-layer optimization, energy-efficient communications, and cellular and sensor networks. In addition to core expertise in wireless communications, we welcome candidates with strong interest in cross-disciplinary research in medical and healthcare, power and energy systems, smart city, transportation networks, or industrial manufacturing.
