Job Summary:
The Advanced Technologies Mission Area has an immediate and exciting opportunity for a Team Lead to manage and collaborate with an emerging franchise program which is anticipating a Phase 3 award July 2021. This contract requires Earned Value Management (EVM) and will be implemented using for Project and PMX tool suite. The sales are forecasted to be ~$250M+ annually with anticipated total value of approximately $1B over four years. Finance serves as a critical business partner by providing the analysis, insight, and guidance to enable and support strategic decision making and achieve bottom-line results. As the lead financial analyst, you will connect with and raise the performance levels of less senior analysts and provide the organizations they support with timely and thorough qualitative analysis that supports business, program, and project decision making.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  1. Training and development of program financial analysts
  2. EAC (Estimate at Complete) coordination, preparation, review and submission
  3. Aid Business Manager in management of cost / schedule progress and forecast Bookings / Sales / Profit / Cash monthly
  4. Support multiple annual proposals (Gate 4s) and contract baselines (Gate 5s) for development pursuits
  5. Aid in development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and 5-year Plans
  6. Earned Value Management (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting
  7. Frequent interpersonal interaction with various program managers, functional leaders, and multiple layers of the organization

An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelors Degree Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related
  • 5+ years of relevant financial work experience
  • Professional experience in applications of Cost and Schedule integration
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, etc.)
  • Experience in developing EACs, budget baselines and/or forecasts including variance analyses
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
  • Strong presentation, communication, and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision and oversight
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP Business Systems including Business Warehouse (BW), or other major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Exceptional analytical ability
  • Experience in development of AOP and 5 year processes, program forecasting and metrics
  • Experience in EVMS audit/surveillance, contract set-up and EVMS implementation
  • Program Management Excellence (PMX) Tool Suite
  • In scope active current DoD Secret Security Clearance (Clearance must be investigated in the last 6 years)
