As part of the larger People organization, University Relations acts as the ambassadors of Apple culture by providing an extraordinary experience to both our candidates and business partners. We are looking for an inspiring manager who embodies our culture and core values to lead all aspects of Apple's Intern Engagement Program. In this role, you will manage a team of dedicated professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class program experience.

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years overall program management experience, preferably within university relations recruiting
  • 3+ years experience leading a team, specifically recruiting professionals; preferably leading a distributed team
  • Proven experience building, growing and developing global programs
  • Strong strategic, organizational and operational skills, with the ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Experience and deep understanding of university recruiting operations and program life cycle
  • Consistent track record of leading onboarding within a high volume recruiting environment
  • Ability to establish relationships and influence across various levels of an organization
  • Preferred experience leading a distributed team
  • Experience in gathering and reporting on metrics, that influence leadership decisions

Description

Project Management: Effectively lead project teams and drive project results in a range of university recruiting-related areas including assessment, inclusion & diversity, and events & partnerships.
People Leadership: Set strategy and develop team resources to effectively deliver on business goals and program initiatives.
Strong Business Insight: Understanding of university recruiting nuances, and programmatic initiatives with the ability to proactively solution.
Cross-team Collaboration: Build and maintain strong internal relationships to develop effective strategies that strengthen our global program and align with key diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Intern Experience: Laser focused on candidate and intern experience. Provides a consistent and positive leadership presence for participants throughout the program, bringing guidance, mentorship and support as needed.

Education & Experience

BS/BA or equivalent experience
