Job Description

Intel Logic Technology and Development (LTD) is looking for an engineer for our Integrated Lithography team. Our engineers are responsible for the introduction and enhancement of current and next generation lithography patterning processes. They enable the manufacture of innovative device architectures and demonstrate manufacturing viability of complex novel processes.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Design and execution of experiments and data analysis necessary to develop processes that meet engineering specifications for manufacturing that include considerations for safety, automation, facility and supply chain, in addition to device performance and yield.

  • Participation in development of intellectual property that enables novel transistor and interconnect architecture.

  • Working effectively in a highly networked, cross-organizational role with integrated module partners to create and realize innovative process flows.

  • Working with industry partners and equipment and material suppliers to develop capabilities for next generation manufacturing processes.

  • Transferring patterning solutions to Intel facilities across the globe running Copy Exactly manufacturing processes.

  • Supporting focus teams and task forces that span multiple technologies and throughout the process flow.

  • People with the following behavioral traits: Demonstrated experience with rapid analysis of complex process issues and identification of a solution path.

  • Proactive mindset, flexible, and self-directing.

  • Communication skills and demonstrated ability to summarize complex data sets for technical and nontechnical audiences.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Must have the required degree or expect the required degree within one year of application.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant previous job, and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess PhD or MS in Eng, Physics, Chemistry, or other science or engineering related field, right to work in US from non-export controlled country (or with GreenCard), graduate GPA of 3.4/4.0 or higher, at least one first author

published paper (waived for MS students), graduate research project. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months of academic or other experience involving hands-on work designing and/or synthesizing semiconductor devices

Experience working in cleanroom environments.

Data analysis skills including Python, JMP, MATLAB, etc...

User experience with common semiconductor processing equipment including photoresist spin-coat, laser-based exposure, photoresist development, plasma etching, ALD, CVD, etc...
