Essential Job Functions

  • Perform rewind/inspection work: inspect all products as rewound off presses
  • Assist in the set-up of finishing equipment
  • Inspect finished products based on supplied specification and standard quality criteria
  • Package finished products based on supplied specifications and standard quality criteria
  • Monitor the daily ship list; communicate with the production manager on progress/problems
  • Maintain a positive, Professional attitude
  • Maintain competency with the tools, resources and processes used in the daily work
  • Abide by ID Technology safety rules and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attention to detail
  • 1 to 3 years rewinder experience in flexo print
  • Experience/ comfortable in a manufacturing environment
  • Self-motivated, able to work well independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Desire to help team succeed
  • Value quality
  • Willingness to help others on the team as needed

Physical requirement
Must be able to lift 70 -75 pounds on regular basis

  • Team lift or use appropriate equipment to move tooling and paper over 50 pounds throughout the day
  • Required to sit and reach about 10 % of the day
  • Required to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, and ability to focus

Exposure to Hazardous Material

Following all federal, provincial, local and company specific safety guidelines as prescribed in the employee handbook and subsequent company safety training. Some minor exposure to hazardous materials such as epoxies, cleaners, etc. may be required as part of this job. Please refer to the materials specific SDS for proper handling instructions.
