Job Summary:
Raytheon Missile and Defense (RMD) Execution Operations has an opportunity for Infrastructure Manufacturing Manager who will have overall infrastructure responsibility of a multi-cell manufacturing operation in a fast paced and dynamic environment to ensure assembled hardware meets contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production. May also be called upon to perform the cell lead function.

This role requires daily interaction with other cross-business teams in RMD to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include: technical support, manufacturing/test/design engineering, maintenance, production control, finance, the program management office, procurement, capital appropriation, and working with outside vendors. This role will require you to understand current union contracts and agreements in place in performing these tasks.



Responsibilities to Anticipate:

The position supports deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools, equipment, facilities, and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of hardware design, production capacity, quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans. This includes but it is not limited to, capital and expense management (including AR generation), management of facility efforts in support of area initiatives, management of overall capacity plan including utilization/floor space, and management of non-production suppliers ensuring the value stream is in a position to execute on safety, security, cost, quality, and schedule goals. Additional administrative tasks may be assigned, including time keeping, ordering of production materials, management of MRO vendors (Vallen), and management of calibrations and repair of equipment.

An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 3 years additional years of experience

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • BS/BA in Operations/Manufacturing, Business, Engineering or any major related to the above job
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior Management experience of direct or indirect factory or support personnel
  • Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in manufacturing and financial management
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with lean or six sigma project implementation
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees
  • Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, and Supervisory experience in the aerospace/defense industry
  • Ability to leverage technology
