The Apple Pay Engineering team is seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our growing team. We are looking for a Project Manager who will lead projects for our Infrastructure Engineering team. Key Qualifications

  • Must be goal oriented, highly motivated and able to work under minimal supervision in a multi-functional environment at detailed levels whilst taking account of interdependencies at higher levels
  • Strong background in infrastructure project management including procurement, data center operations, & environment validation
  • Proven ability handling validation & cutover of key infrastructure activities
  • Exposure to PCI patching, and infrastructure upgrades
  • Effective presentation, oral, and written business communication skills with various audiences and levels
  • Ability to quickly respond to changes in business scenarios, projects and resources - adapting accordingly and positively
  • Data analysis experience
  • Technical writing experience a plus
  • Effective decision-maker - balance risks and benefits for the overall good of Apple


The Infrastructure Engineering Project Manager will track action items, prepare documentation and project plans, effectively communicate project status, manage project risk, and monitor the readiness of the development, multi-functional and operational business teams as well as conduct post project evaluations. This is a hands-on position where the Project Manager will be involved in analysis, testing, proof-of-concept, management of deliverables across teams, etc.

You will lead multiple cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management through project life cycle
You will lead server integration aspects directly with one or more third party integration partners
You will handle all aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope and definition - this may include development of detailed project requirements in operations, finance, etc.
You will lead multi-functional business and operational requirements and expectations with realistic project plans
You will resolve cross-functional and business issues
You will assist management in assessing and prioritizing projects
You will actively seek problem resolutions
You will support internal and external groups
You will analyze data and report to management and others
You will build positive relationships with multi-functional internal organizations
You will navigate and execute in an environment of ambiguity and lead teams to the successful delivery of solutions

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree or equivalent field plus 5+ years or MS degree plus 3+ years experience, or equivalent
