The Interactive Media Group (IMG) provides the audio, video, and graphics foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, including iPhone, iPod, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, iTunes, and macOS, as well as professional and consumer applications from Final Cut, Logic and iWork. The Audio QA group provides audio software test support across all of Apple's products.
We are seeking a creative software or test engineer to design and perform automated tests on the next generation of interactive computing for our platform and work to enhance our quality initiatives. Audio drivers, firmware and audio subsystems will all be areas of testing you will be responsible for. As a member of this team, you will have a unique opportunity to work with some of Apple's most advanced technologies to help build empowering solutions for everyone.
Key Qualifications
You will contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of automated tests covering our next generation of interactive computing for our platform. You will be responsible for analyzing test results and delivering clear and actionable bug reports. In addition, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of tools and frameworks that facilitate test automation. This position requires you to be a self-starter with excellent communications skills and attention to detail. You'll need to work well both on a team, and on your own. The fast-paced nature of the job requires someone who can work well under pressure and quickly adapt new technology into effective audio testing. We are seeking someone who is intensely curious yet focused on delivering results in a timely manner. An eye and ear for quality is a requirement.
Education & Experience
B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Music Technology, or equivalent experience
