Job Description

Responsibilities of the role include, although not limited to:

  • Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products
  • Work directly with companies that develop applications software, focus on enabling and optimization of 3rdparty software applications
  • Code may be used in a wide variety of commercial or end-user applications. Use current programming language and technologies, write code, completes programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications
  • Manage internal SDP requirements to ensure all 3 labs have pre-prod HW needed
  • Coordinate with stakeholders in CXPS and CCG to identify competitive HW comparison
  • Manage the demand/ordering of comp HW for all 3 labs
  • Receive and inventory all HW; Maintains system inventory in GEDB
  • Build systems as needed for AE and maintains inventory of AE HW
  • Manage all timelines for HW deliveries and ensure all 3 labs have HW when needed to support testing
  • Coordinate with other labs (CAST/CCG) on HW plans; drive and maintain matrix of target and reference platforms for compatibility testing; communicate plans with lab partners

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical STEM degree and 5+ years of experience with:

  • Hardware - either managing inventories, building HW, or coordinating supply
  • Microsoft Windows architecture
  • Computer architecture (SBIOS, OS, device driver)
  • HW setup

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

  • C and/or C++
  • QA/Testing experience
  • Software development life cycle
  • Pre-release hardware
  • Coordinating and setting up KVM and lab networks
