The Programming team is responsible for the planning and project management of all Music projects delivered by the Brand Experience division for Apple Services. As the Music Programming Head, you will manage a team and partner with senior business leaders across the Music business to deliver a dynamic and growing portfolio of virtual and live events and content experiences.

This person has a deep level of knowledge and passion for music, a self-motivated, highly collaborative approach, and ability to lead large teams within a fast growing organization.

Key Qualifications

  • 15+ years in integrated Experiential, focused on account handling and/or planning role with experience in managing and building cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale global and international projects
  • Significant work experience in music, delivering a broad spectrum of output including broadcast events, series content/formats, virtual events/content experiences, experiential and live performance
  • Deep understanding of music and music culture across multiple genres and International markets
  • Creative and highly strategic development of content experiences and programs that build and engage audiences, deliver against business and marketing objectives, and deliver demonstrable value
  • Highly skilled storyteller that leads pitch teams and writes creative presentations. Optimally present and explain a wide variety of events, experiences and activations in a way that inspires and engages a diverse audience of partners.
  • Able to respond and adapt to the needs of a highly matrixed organization and ensure work is consistently delivered to a high standard
  • Outstanding attention to detail, while still working under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Keynote, Microsoft Office, Pages and Numbers. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Inventive, adaptable, creative & results orientated with high energy and a positive demeanor.


Responsible for leading Music Programming team that supports and responds to the Apple Music business needs. This person will supervise development plans, reviews and training requirements, and will partner with our Operations team on workflow and resource planning.

Will work with the rest of the leadership team to help set the vision and roadmap for Music.

Partner with other teams to identify new opportunities and initiate, receive and write briefs. Ensure that each opportunity is aligned with clear business objectives and built within a clear strategic framework, working with other cross functional teams as needed.

Lead multiple concurrent pitches and presentations.

Brief, partner and collaborate with the Creative, Production, and other cross-functional teams across Apple and external third parties or partners to deliver sophisticated International projects through to completion.

Ensure that all projects run seamlessly from start to finish, tracking all work against objectives, strategy and vision set out at the initial briefing stage.

Provide an outstanding, consistent level of client service and project management at all times.

Work with cross functional groups to integrate the Apple Services ecosystem into Event Programming plans and campaigns.

This role reports into the Head of Programming.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
