Job Description

This position is for a senior HW engineer that will codevelop premium computers notebooks and desktop PCs with our OEM customers and ODM partners You will participate in new PC development representing the customers technical needs and creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: PCB circuit design layout routing analysis and system design tradeoff to develop next generation Intel Client platform with leading edge technology Consistently driving towards platform design improvement optimization prepares specifications evaluates vendors and analyzes test reports. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. Leading critical product issue debugging and providing technical support to internal and external customers. This also includes responsibility for board design collaterals deliverables to customer Initiates guides and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products. Responds to customer client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

The successful candidate should exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:

-Strong verbal and written communication skills required for interfacing directly with customers.

-Ability to work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment


Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Electrical Electronic or Computer Engineering

  • 7+ years prior experience in HW circuit board design based on Intel CPU chip set SOC products Experience with Allegro and Cadence design tools

  • 3+ years of experience in PC system architecture schematic capture printed circuit board layout and system PCB manufacturing

  • 3+ years of experience with PC system architecture and notebook tablet electrical design of motherboard and daughter cards. This includes integration of system component electrical thermal and mechanical input

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with directly collaborating with OEMs
