Job Description

The hardware architect position within Client Platform Engineering (CPE) is chartered to drive the pathfinding of user/system telemetry and machine learning driven platform optimization.

The job requires partnering with and leveraging internal and external domain experts across various areas of silicon and system design: power delivery, thermal, power management, memory, platform telemetry and firmware, software to architect and design a new solution path to highly optimize system control and maximize power/performance potential on each system.

This position requires deep understanding and extensive experience of system and SoC design, micro architecture, power and performance measurement, workload analysis, and methodologies in architecture and design phases of client products.

Depends on the candidate's background, the responsibilities and job scope may involve the following:
 

  • Drive the hardware architecture pathfinding and development by collaborating across domains in silicon and system designs
  • Support the architecture definition and development of intelligence platform framework
  • Develop Augmented Intelligence (AI + domain expertise) based solutions to drive holistic design optimization decisions during architecture and design phases of client products
  • Support future system and SoC design technology pathfinding to deliver strong product differentiation

Additional requirements include:

  • The ability to solve complex problems using collaborative multi-disciplinary approaches
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Successful history of leading transformation initiatives and should be comfortable with risk-taking and ambiguity
  • Demonstrated good teamwork with ability to work across organizational boundaries.
  • Strong technical leadership skills and good influencing skills.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, OR a related discipline with 6+ years of experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Ph.D. preferred with 4+ years of experience
