We've all found apps we love and apps that have changed our lives. Apps transform the ways we learn, work, travel, have fun, and pursue our passions. In 2008, the App Store launched with 500 apps. Now there are more than two million. And so we challenged ourselves: How can we offer more perspective and insight? How do we showcase the work of creative developers? How can we make the App Store a place our hundreds of millions of customers will want to visit every single day? We're hiring people who want to help make that happen.

The App Store is seeking a data-driven analyst to help track and optimize the performance of editorial featuring across the Today, Games, Apps, and Arcade tabs; this includes developing new strategies and initiatives that scale globally, surfacing trends and insights to Editorial leadership that inform key business decisions, and working with Product and Engineering teams to strategize how, when, and where content appears throughout the App Store. You are uncompromising when it comes to the customer experience, with a genuine love for data analysis, and a proven track record in delivering against multiple critical metrics across varied platforms. You work quickly and independently, connect well with colleagues across departments and time zones, and understand the value of focus. You possess a true passion for Apple and the products it makes, as well as connecting people with the apps and games that will help them live better lives.

Key Qualifications

  • 5-8 years experience using data to craft high-level performance analysis and content insights
  • Experience in model building, scenario testing, and conducting competitive analysis
  • Experience working with content management systems and A/B testing platforms
  • Experience in creating and delivering data-based presentations that are engaging, clear, and concise
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to spearhead multiple projects simultaneously while remaining focused on key problems/opportunities
  • Shown ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, adjusting priorities as needed to align with the organization
  • Strong communication skills
  • Resourceful, creative, and collaborative
  • Deep passion for Apple products and services, as well as the perspective and experience of our customers

Description
- Create and present regular reports to the WW App Store Editorial team, providing high-level performance analysis and insights, as well as key findings of growth and optimization initiatives
- Partner with WW Editorial Leadership on the development and implementation of new programs and strategies across Today, Games, Apps, and Arcade
- Partner with Growth & Strategy colleagues on conducting content performance, A/B tests, and audience analysis for editorial programs
- Correspond with editors, designers, engineers and other cross-functional partners as an expert voice on content strategy and editorial performance
- Travel within the US and abroad for on-site editorial, as needed

Education & Experience

BA/BS preferred
