Job Description

We are looking for talented Software Engineers to drive debug of gaming related issues on Intel based Graphics drivers. We value a positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to work against tight deadlines. Because we collaborate often with each other and other teams, effective written and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Our graphics debug team is a very exciting place to be if you're passionate about graphics/gaming and have experience in developing or debugging game issues or writing graphics code.   • Graphics SW gaming/productivity application debugging including pre-release software titles.

  • Understanding API/feature architecture, debugging windows-based gaming/productivity application workloads.

  • Problem solving, learning, and adapting quickly in ambiguous environments, specifically with a focus on process improvements.

  • Handling tops down system level triage and debug

  • Collaborating and working with driver developers, application engineers, ISV's software and hardware validation teams to root cause issues.




A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

  • 3+ years of industry work experience.

  • Experience with industry standard API's and frameworks such as: DirectX (including direct ML), Vulkan, OpenGL, and OpenCL

  • Programming experience in C++

  • Hands-on experience in the software development life cycle

  • Windows based debugging experience in either Visual Studio (VS), WinDbg, etc...

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of industry work experience

  • Deep understanding of Windows based application/gaming architecture

  • Deep understanding of 3D graphics hardware and software.

  • Good understanding of stream and trace capture tools such as: iGPA, gits, PIX, etc...

  • Demonstrated software debug knowledge

  • Gaming industry experience with development/debug

  • Virtualization (Software VTd, Hardware SRIOV)

  • Experience analyzing API level performance issues

  • Knowledge on Intel Discrete and integrated GPU architecture
