Graphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, Media, Compute, and Display) hardware, intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel and do not let any organizational boundary get in the way of solving problems. We are looking for a Graphics Hardware Engineer to join our team.

In this position you will help us with the following responsibilities:

  • Design and Pre-silicon verification of Intel graphics cores, focusing on Display Graphics Pipeline.
  • Work closely with Architecture team and develop HW architecture specification, validation strategy and test plans.
  • Responsible for E2E verification of complex/mega features including collaboration with cross org/site teams from Architecture, Design, Verification, and software teams.
  • Learn from past programs escapes and address verification gaps to improve IP quality.
  • Research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the IP performance.

Minimum Skills and experience:

You should have bachelors degree Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+years of industry experience. Or have a masters degree in same fields with 1 years of industry experience. 

Your experience should be in the following areas:

  • Logic design, architecture, and logic verification.
  • Pre-Si verification validation, Verilog, System Verilog, and verification methodologies (OVM/UVM).
  • Expertise in using UNIX and Windows.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience with test content development, execution, and debug.
  • Experience in using Emulators/FPGA to do pre-silicon validation.
  • Knowledge of testbench architecture, transactors, and coverage-based verification.
  • Experience with programming / scripting languages like Python, Perl, C/C++.
