Job Description

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Hardware Architect who can help define the next generation of Intel's cutting-edge GPU products. In this position, you will develop and analyze architecture and micro-architecture options for the GPU Memory sub-system, including caching, address translation, very-high BW internal fabrics, and optimal use of external memory technologies. You will work closely with senior architects and micro-architects and be exposed to the overall architecture of the GPU, and the Client and Server platforms in which it resides. We are looking for a GPU Memory Architect with effective verbal and written communication and the and the ability to work in cross-functional and cross-site groups, to improve the performance and overall value of our products.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Minimum skills and experience:

  • Candidate must have Ph.D in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering  or related field.
  • At least 6 months of educational or industry experience be in one or more of the following:
    • SW development skills in C++, or similar high-level language
    • Computer or Graphics platform or component-level development (HW or SW)

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience in parallel programming
  • HW/SW modeling and simulation

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$95,090.00-$157,480.00
