Job Description

GTRI/ICL seeks qualified candidates for a full-time GRC analyst role in Atlanta, GA. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing analytical support as part of an effective information security risk management program. The individual in this role will be primarily responsible for ensuring effective enterprise-wide security analysis, understanding standards and assessment practices, supporting security awareness and education, and assisting in the development of applicable security policies, standards and guidelines.

The position is based in the Centergy Building at 75 Fifth Street NW Atlanta, on the Georgia Tech campus.

Job Duties

The individual in this role will be primarily responsible for ensuring effective enterprise-wide security analysis, understanding standards and assessment practices, supporting security awareness and education, and assisting in the development of applicable security policies, standards and guidelines.

Education & Length of Experience

Research Engineer/Scientist/Technologist/Associate I

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management of Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field of study.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience and background in information security risk management/compliance
  • Knowledge of federal risk management/information security requirements (NIST 800-53, MARS-E, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Experience in executing strategies for managing audits, compliance checks and external assessment processes for internal/external auditors
  • Experience in the development and implementation of the system-wide risk management function of an information security program to Ensure information security risks are identified and monitored
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with one or more commercial GRC tools (Archer, SAI, LogicManager, etc)
  • Experience with AWS Security: Compliance, Cloud Security Architecture, third party security tools/platforms, encryption/KMS/CloudHSM, IAM policies/roles, etc.
  • Experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems, Health IT standards, policies, and best practices is a strong plus

Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.
