Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Guidance, Navigation and Control engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to work as part of a small, fast-paced development team for an advanced missile system. Responsibilities include development of missile guidance and navigation algorithms,and design and evaluation of Kalman filters for processing sensor measurements. Experience with Matlab and C++ is required. Understanding of missile autopilot and control evaluation is also desirable. An active DoD Secret security clearance is required

Basic Qualifications
Experience with Matlab and C++
Experience with performance simulations of missile systems
Experience with guidance or navigation algorithm development
Experience with Kalman Filter design

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level

Must have an secret clearance prior to start that has an investigation within 5 years

Desired skills
Familiarity with missile autopilot design
