Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Internet of Things Group (IoTG) as a Global Product Segment Manager!

The Retail, Banking, Hospitality, and Education Division of Intel's Internet of Things group is looking for an exceptional and experienced individual to lead the Global Thin Client (Cloud Client) business segment. This leader will play a key role in shaping the Cloud Client business for the future and will need to demonstrate exceptional leadership in addition to cross-functional influencing and organizational skills.

This individual will drive a holistic strategy for the global product segment, focusing on the needs of OEMs and ecosystem partners delivering Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Desktop-as-a-Service, and other emerging orchestration technologies to solve critical technology infrastructure needs across multiple vertical markets. This leader will need to manage key stakeholders across multiple Intel organizations, specifically the Chrome and Cloud-Client team within the Client Computing Group, to drive holistic strategy and messaging while delivering a "One Intel" approach to customers and partners who develop both Thin Client and Chromebook solutions in their Cloud Client portfolio. Key industry influencing will include OEMs such as Dell, HP, and Lenovo, VDI solution providers including VMware, Citrix, and IGEL, and Cloud Service Providers such as AWS and Microsoft.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Representing Intel products and technologies to customers and sales and marketing
  • Representing the market and customer needs to engineering
  • Conducting market research and competitive product/pricing
  • Overseeing the development and production of marketing material and presenting product training material. Responsible for creation and maintenance of product briefs and coordinating pricing requirements with business operations
  • Serving as an advisor to the sales and marketing group and a key resource in interacting with engineering, product management, and marketing groups.
  • Responding to customer/client requests or events as they occur
  • Engaging and influencing other groups across Intel and interacting with external customers and partners in the industry

  • Broad background in product development and experience with Intel platforms and software stack.

  • Willing to work cross functionally
  • Experience with product management and product marketing
  • Willing to meet tight deadlines, multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Consistent track record having worked as a Program or Project Manager, Lead, PMO or department head, managing teams and large, strategic cross-functional projects

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Education:

Bachelors degree in a technical field of study with 5+ years of industry experience

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in the following areas:

  • Experience evaluating sales performance and working with sales and marketing leadership to set tangible goals and objectives for the sales force to meet revenue and business objectives.
  • Formulating and reviewing strategic long-range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product areas
  • Developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement
  • Developing product specifications and requirements
  • Experience in executive communication or giving presentations to an executive-level audience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$95,090.00-$157,480.00
