Our team manages operational support of Wallet and Apple Pay partners and maintains the day to day performance of the Wallet and Apple Pay platform. We are rapidly expanding the Apple Wallet product offerings as we branch out from the classic payment card experience to universities, events, transit, peer to peer, and our own credit card - the Apple Card. As we grow, we want to maintain operational excellence and monitor program health consistently and efficiently.

We are seeking an Operations Readiness Program Manager to support operational work streams across programs with software and hardware releases. This role requires ability for you to deeply understand launching and sustaining Wallet and Apple Pay readiness programs globally. This position can be based in either Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA.

Key Qualifications

  • Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels?
  • Do you enjoy facilitating external and internal partner communications (e.g. presentations, conference calls, and emails?
  • Are you able to deal with ambiguity and take keen interest in partner programs/channel management?
  • Do you have a passion to be a voice for the customer and customer experience?
  • We are looking for high level of integrity, passion in providing this vital service to the platform and sense of urgency to "make things happen".


Lead global work streams with internal partners in the areas of product (software and hardware) readiness, user experience, customer care

Work with hardware and software engineering teams to track upcoming features and develop customer experience frameworks for operational readiness

Engage with cross-functional teams (e.g. Business Development, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Care, Finance, Analytics & Reporting etc.) to facilitate operational readiness of feature/product launches

Hands-on test/validate product launch and trickle down impact on processes, documentation and channel impact

Lead change. Ability to identify areas of improving readiness for partners with feature announcements via marketing and channel enablement programs

Influence decisions and change management through collaboration, thought leadership and a customer-focused approach

Synthesize complex issues into a clear story and/or assess operational readiness opportunities

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent desirable, preferably in operations.

8-10 years + experience in product or program management

Strong design skills (UI mockups, modifying screenshots, etc).
