Apple is seeking an entrepreneurial leader with a passion for marketing technologies to help grow its services, including Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and more. The Technology and Performance Partner Program Manager will work with a wide variety of functional teams, with a focus on building technology solutions that enable and enhance meaningful programs with partners and creators in our apps and through our many communication channels.

  • You have a deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware (Mac OS X, iOS, Apple TV, Apple Music, iTunes, App Store, iBooks, Podcasts, News, Arcade, etc.)
  • Knowledgable with Android and Chrome ecosystems.
  • Comfort working with APIs and explaining those to TV+ performance marketing partners as needed
  • Basic understanding of CSS and CMS systems, so you can draft tools requirement docs and so you can direct work of software engineers
  • You are familiar with emerging engineering systems and experience in implementing key practices.
  • You have risk management experience including identification, mitigation and reduction tracking.
  • You have an understanding of different technical project management techniques including Agile and waterfall.

Description

In overseeing the development of marketing tools for Apple TV and TV+, you will:
- Be part of a team that defines the future direction of the tools and technology serving the Apple TV and TV+ teams, gathering requirements and distilling the key functionality needed to grow the business.
- Main goals include driving subscriptions and downloads, promoting original content shows with creative tools, and saving resources by finding unique solutions through technology.
- Building partner tools to support the Apple TV+ Performance Partner program, focusing on asset creation and partner linking tools that create scale while protecting the brand
- Managing requests for TV+ web landing pages and working with developers and marketing teams to deliver on schedule.
- Support set up, link testing, messaging and reporting for new and existing TV app and TV+ affiliates, working to help the team deliver TV+ trials and downloads
- Connect with Apple engineering, production support, design, and product marketing to discuss upcoming product launches or changes that will impact marketing and partner tools.
- Determine capabilities and limitations of the team, and quantifying associated risks and cost of new projects.
- Daily management of the TV app and TV+ marketing tools roadmap with an external engineering agency and key internal stakeholders.
- Develop product briefs and hold weekly meetings to ensure project timeliness and to update teams on progress.
- Assist in the setup of tracking and integration of TV and Video related API's.
- Establish yourself as a resource for TV internal teams and key external partners to help in day-to-day trouble shooting, education, and communication.
- Manage the implementation of new TV+ and TV app partber tools by provide training and creating documentation for the tools you oversee.
- Oversee budget and tool performance.
- Communicate key information to executives via regular TV Tools reports and launch summaries.

Education & Experience

BA or BS Degree 7+ years experience in project management, product marketing, or content marketing program management.
