Job Description

The Intel XPU Architecture team is looking for a passionate and driven individual to help define and build the next generation of highly efficient XPU architectures for Intel in the role of a Geometry and Raster Performance Simulator Engineer

This individual will be a member of the architecture team working with other hardware and software architects to build and simulate new XPU products.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing the performance model

  • Debug of performance issues and helping define solutions to improve performance for the Geometry and Raster portions of an XPU architecture

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, and an aptitude to learn new things quickly

  • Proven to work with multi-functional and cross-site groups

  • Demonstrated leadership skills to work closely with architects and engineers to establish functional quality development processes

  • Ability to influence next generation architecture with data driven workload analysis


Qualifications

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

  • 4+ years of experience in GPU/CPU Architecture, Microarchitecture applications and solutions

Your Experience Must Include the Following:

  • Specific focus on Geometry and Raster application/solutions for real time 3d rendering and games

  • 3d Geometry and Raster applications, implementation tradeoffs and application level impact

  • Performance or function simulator modeling

  • C/C++ and object-oriented OOP programming

  • Software development and/or Software architecture definition

  • Performance test criteria and development

Preferred skills and experience:

  • PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

  • Delivery of high-quality IP (RTL, Design, Validation)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$110,720.00-$183,250.00
