Job Description
The General Ledger Intern is responsible for different aspects of the Companys day to day management of General Ledger Accounting.
The General Ledger Intern supports the processes of General Ledger Accounting Team, resolving inquiries and GL Accounting related requests received from members of the General Ledger Team.
Responsibilities
Assist with research, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
Process workflows in NetSuite related to prepaid amortization, fixed assets, payments and more
Take part in the monthly close process by collecting data, recording journal entries in General Ledger, preparing reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, collecting and saving back-up documentation of some activities
Take part in daily activities that support the payment process for multiple LogMeIn entities, review and approve AP invoices, ad hoc report preparation, Fixed Asset related activities
Work closely with members of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Collections teams
Shadow members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties
Support senior team members
Resolve inquiries sent to our shared e-mail inbox

Requirements
Finance and Accounting studies
Work experience in Finance SSC is an advantage
Good written and oral English knowledge
Good Knowledge of MS Excel
Strong communication skills, accuracy
Experience using NetSuite or other Tier 1 ERP reporting package is a plus
