Job Description

Functional Validation is looking for candidates with enthusiasm for problem solving and great team collaboration to join our team validating Intels CPU Products.

Our team provides logical validation of Intel Core CPU products for the duration of the product life cycle, from presilicon to post silicon, and customer support.

We are responsible for test content creation, test plan definitions, and execution of content debug of failures.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Use and application of emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec.
  • Will be responsible for the development of methodologies execution of validation plans and debug of failures.
  • Creating, defining, and developing system validation environments and test suites.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of experience - OR - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience in:

  • broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture Design and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post silicon test content, and providing feedback for future ondie debug features.
  • Computer Architecture Hardware debug.
  • Windows or Linux software and debug and good experience with Python or C language programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Logic Analyzers Protocol Analyzers Oscilloscopes and Multimeters.
  • Hardware Debug.
  • Software or Firmware Debug.
