The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is looking for exceptional Senior Level candidates with a degree in Computer Science and 10 plus years of experience. POSITION SUMMARY: This job posting represents full time opportunities within the Electro-Optical Systems Laboratory in one or more of the following domains and functional areas:

Education & Length of Experience

Senior Research Engineer/Scientist

  • A Master’s degree in CE, CS, EE, Math and seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
  • A Doctoral degree in and four (4) years of relevant full time experience.

Principal Research Engineer/Scientist

  • A Master’s degree in CE, CS, EE, Math and eleven (11) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree,
  • A Doctoral degree in CE, CS, EE, Math and seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in applied research and program development
  •  5+ years’ experience leading software teams or related projects

U.S. Citizenship Requirements

Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.
