Job Description

The System Solutions Engineering (SSE) team is part of the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG).PSG continues to deliver industry-leading FPGA solutions to customers and our team is responsible for the technical enablement of customer applications in embedded and defense segments.

We aim to be domain experts while bringing together applicational needs and the future of FPGA technology. As a FPGA Systems Design Engineer, you will work and collaborate in a rapid learning environment alongside industry experts to architect, design, and optimize FPGA-centric systems.

The focus would be on Defense and Government applications. Technical development will be varied including RTL design, Software, Digital Signal Processing, Algorithm implementation with High-Level Synthesis. Full lifecycle development including design, verification, and HW debugging. The successful candidate will be proven to architect complex systems and map them efficiently to FPGA-based platforms.


You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with FPGA design using RTL, Verilog, or VHDL.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Quartus Prime.

  • ADC/DAC, RF.

  • Signal Processing.

  • Matlab/Simulink, C/C++.

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
