Job Description

Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education Requirement

Candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or relevant field.

Minimum Qualifications

5 to 7 years of direct industry experience on Firmware, Graphics environments.

5+ years experience with:

  • Coding in C/C++ and Python
  • Debug experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic understanding of BIOS/UEFI, Graphics environments and strong validation background, automation and good understand of PSS, Post silicon environments is a plus.

Good experience on Design and Developing of test content for IP's and developing robust test cases and understanding of debug environment.

Experience with Perl TCL and Shell scripting is an added advantage.
