We are looking for an outgoing professional with high analytical capacity, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills to support the Worldwide Sales Organization. The position requires the ability to complete complex financial and demand analysis, work cross functionally and with local teams in region, develop and execute business strategies, and recommend and present business updates to senior management.

Key Qualifications

  • 2-5 years sales/finance/business development related work experience
  • Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills and presentation skills using Excel, Keynote, Business Objects, Tableau and Essbase
  • Proven ability to conduct complex, data driven analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Articulate results of analysis in a clear and concise manner
  • Act independently and be proactive
  • Demonstrated success in prioritizing multiple activities/projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-growing, results-driven environment
  • Must be able to think strategically on critical business issues, while simultaneously acting tactically to execute against them
  • Shown experience developing processes and/or improving existing processes, with desire to inspire change across our team and Apple as an organization
  • Deep understanding of financial principles and financial accounting
  • Ability to see the big picture while simultaneously zooming into the details
  • Ability to navigate through a large organization and cross-functional teams to achieve a task with minimal oversight

Description

The ideal candidate is one who has been a top performer in his or her career with a proven track record of accomplishments. The candidate will be joining WW Sales Finance with the expectations of being a key contributor in a fast-paced, growth environment. The candidate should feel comfortable dealing with complex and ambiguous situations navigating cross-functional, globally-based teams. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide guidance on and review details forecast assumptions using a deep knowledge of seasonal curves and promotional uplifts to accurately predict demand. Curate the forecast assumption story convinces business partners on the accuracy of the forecast with executive messaging and presence.
- Understanding the demand forecast, propose recommendations on investment opportunities that align with corporate and partner objectives taking into account market dynamics, competitive factors and product roadmaps.
- Curate Keynote presentations for ad hoc requests to support the weekly Sales meeting with the CEO.
- Individually lead the relationship with a subset of geo iPhone finance teams to have a firm understanding of local demand trends and key sales initiatives. Provide financial review and oversight to make recommendations on geo business cases that require financial investments.
- Develop tight working relationships with the Sales and Operations organizations to effectively plan for supply allocation that supports country-by-country demand needs.
- Identify, propose and independently lead projects that optimize work streams and fundamentally change business processes working with Sales, Finance, Engineering and Operations counterparts.

Education & Experience

BA/BS Degree in Finance related field plus

MBA, CFA or CPA preferred
