At Raytheon Missiles & Defense, you have the opportunity to try new things and make a bigger difference across a broader end-to-end solution, a richer technology and product set, an expanded range of disciplines, a growing global footprint and a more diverse team of colleagues and customers.

The JSOW & MALD programs have an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst. This role would include execution of several contracts between both JSOW and MALD programs. Specifically, you will help lead MALD-N (Navy) EMD efforts and various development and integration contracts between JSOW and MALD. JSOW & MALD programs equate roughly to ~$150M of annual revenues primarily in support of a primarily Navy and FMS customer base. In this analyst role, you will also have the opportunity get exposure to other contracts as their desire and skillset permits (MALD LRIP capture, JSOW Production, MALD Sustainment). This financial role serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight and guidance to program leadership in order to enable strategic decisions leading to program execution and fiduciary success. This diverse portfolio includes ongoing execution of all phases in the program life cycle, supports both DoD and FMS customers and all contract types, and therefore you must be able to prioritize and allocate resources in a challenging, deadline driven environment. In addition, professional and effective communication skills are required due to the frequent interaction with program, product line and functional leadership.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  1. Perform ad-hoc requests, design and execute creative solutions/opportunities to program and process challenges, assist in the development of fundamental and intermediary analytical skills of junior analysts, and help automate reporting and analytical tools used across the programs.
  2. Work cross functionally to accurately, compliantly and strategically prepare required EACs for all contracts assigned. On JSOW & MALD, analysts arent assigned to particular elements of cost (labor vs material), but instead are responsible for working with the IPTs and functions to consolidate their entire EAC for each of their respective contracts.
  3. Manage all internal weekly and monthly reporting requirements, working to automate as much as possible (ex. Earned Value, SAAG, CLIN LoF/LoC, Labor/Cost, BSEC, etc)
  4. Responsible for financial planning activities (BSEC, AOP, 5YP, LRP) related to their contracts
  5. Perform analysis and provide valuable, articulate, proactive feedback to program and functional teams to maximize business and program success (variance and trend analysis, leveraging historical metrics to predict future outcomes)
