The Services & Infrastructure Finance Team provides high-quality financial support relating to the Company's Capital Investments Portfolio, Data Center & Network Operations, internal IT infrastructure and Internet Software & Services businesses including Purchase to Pay, Financial Planning and Analysis and a variety of business reporting.

Apple has an opening for a Finance Programs Analyst to perform a variety of finance-focused system and process implementation projects including projects which could be related to eApproval, SAP, iTrac, Pathfinder, Telecom Expense Management tool, etc. in addition to Authorized Requester responsibilities. We need someone who can help build and enhance these tools and processes that will help drive decisions. This role will work closely with IS&S, GBS, IS&T and other organizations in order to drive critical projects on time, and on budget while meeting key business requirements

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a global, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to problem solve and effectively prioritize workload
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and influence cross-functionally to identify, evaluate and execute strategic priorities, operational opportunities and growth initiatives
  • Ability to craft cross functional solutions that incorporate multiple and competing points of view and embrace meticulous attention to detail
  • Critical and analytical thinker with creative problem-solving skills; an intellectual curiosity to identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Successful finance business process re-engineering experience
  • Excellent negotiation skills in addition to the ability to deal effectively with ambiguity will also be critical
  • Great teammate who is willing to assist other team members in getting the job done
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills including, business and functional requirements, management level presentations and proposals
  • Detail oriented and exceptional organization skills
  • Able to exercise good judgment and discretion within Apple's policies
  • Transactional process analysis and improvement
  • Proficient with Financial Databases, SAP preferred
  • Other financial systems & tools experience a plus: eApproval, Tableau, GRID
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Extremely curious with strong ability to drive issues to root cause
  • Ability to drive the project forward with a sense of urgency
  • Periodic travel may be required


Be a central contact for system issue ticket creation and tracking as well as consolidating and communicating team enhancement ideas

Process ad hoc reports to analyze expenses and provide a status of PO spend to budget

Represent Finance in system upgrades and roll outs including performing or facilitating UAT requirements

Build and maintain dashboards, pull and present data

Communicate and transition new financial processes

Provide support and training to IS&T/IS&S on the Purchase-to-Pay process, capital tracking and general procurement topics

Perform the role of Authorized Requester, managing the Purchase to Pay (P2P) Process for the Services & Infrastructure Finance Team

Manage the purchase order life cycle including approving purchase requisitions and addressing questions from vendors

Administer all invoice processing, approval and payment workflows ensuring adherence to Accounting & Finance policies

Organize meetings with cross functional teams to review current Purchase to Pay landscape

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree preferred
