Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) is seeking a Factory Operations Manager of Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM) to join the CCM Leadership Team. In this role you will provide leadership and talent development opportunities to an organization of > 150 employees across multiple functions including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain while maintaining a safe work environment for all CCM employees and instilling a culture of continuous improvement.

This position is in a fast paced, customer/program driven environment and is a key enabler leading strategic growth with regular interactions with senior leaders across RMD Operations and other functions as a member of the RMD East Operations extended leadership team working cohesively with the other directorates within operations.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Will be accountable for Circuit Card production for all RMD high-mix Radar programs, including full-rate production, low-rate initial production.

Provide cross- functional leadership of the multi-disciplined CCM team.

Coordinate manufacturing resources and strategy required to support ongoing operations for cost, quality and schedule, ensuring operational excellence across the Circuit Card Manufacturing process from planning through production, shipment and customer support.

Champion Enterprise Collaboration by bringing best in class solutions that deliver innovative manufacturing and advanced capabilities that create sustained growth while driving affordability.

Have strong engagement with emerging designs, requiring strong engagement with programs and customers to drive design for manufacturability and modernization of equipment / test platforms.

Demonstrates skills and experience necessary to perform in technical, program, and manufacturing leadership roles.

Capable of working beyond the typical 40-hour work week.

Qualifications You Must Have:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience

Experience as a people leader and manager; encouraging and in support of performance management activities, goal setting, career counseling, compensation planning, and employee training / talent development while managing employees and employee relations issues within varying levels of the Organization

Experience collaborating and building strong cross-functional teams gained from leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, program management or similar for a complex product domain, high-technology or large corporate environment

Ability to periodically travel domestically

U.S. Citizenship is required

U.S. Citizenship is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance on day one of employment with the ability to obtain special access as needed.

Qualifications We Value:

Prior experience leading in a DoD manufacturing environment

Prior experience managing a collective bargaining workforce

Experience utilizing SAP and other business systems

Extensive experience utilizing Shop floor data systems

Experience with Six-Sigma and lean manufacturing processes

Excellent organizational, customer service, communication, presentation, and team building skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership

Proven ability to execute against tight deadlines

Understanding of Missiles & Defense (RMD) product structures and product technical details

Proven track record of positive financial performance / cost reduction

A great team builder with the ability to communicate clear expectations and influence teams across a wide cross-section of disciplines

Active/Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance

This position requires an active security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
