Job Description

This is an opportunity to join the rapidly growing Intel New Mexico team as the leader of the Wafer Level Test and Sort Engineering group.
As an engineering group leader you would inspire your team develop creative solutions to test and sort challenges that arise when testing a broad spectrum of Intel products across multiple tool types. You would develop and review metrics to determine how best to utilize your teams resources to achieve the highest quality lowest cost test solution. Your creativity and ingenuity would be put to great use in developing projects to continuously improve the test process. You will have an opportunity to shape and guide the careers of the engineers on your team. You will have the opportunity to influence and partner with peer managers and to grow your career from a vast network of senior leaders.

The Fab11X Sort Engineering Module Group Leader will be responsible for but not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Safety, quality, velocity, cost, people, and new technology ramp deliverables for the toolsets you own.

  • Partnering with 24x7 manufacturing operations to meet and exceed deliverables.

  • Creating and driving a roadmap for their team to meet or exceed the safety, quality, velocity, cost and ramp for the toolsets in their area.

  • Inspire and develop your engineering team to meet or exceed their career goals.

  • Use your creativity, education, industry experience to guide your team to resolving leading edge technological challenges.

  • Provide guidance and direction to the tool install teams to meet production ramp needs.

  • Identify areas of waste and prioritize appropriately to eliminate.

  • Have a quality focused mindset.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering, or a technical related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Equipment/Process Group Leader in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in Fab or Sort.


Preferred qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) of experience with tester/prober equipment, and sort processes.
  • Experience with probe cards and probe card maintenance.
