Job Description

Process Engineer capable of developing and sustaining Wet Etch processes to meet the needs of next generation semiconductor devices. Define, implement, and sustain processes related to e-test and layer performance criteria for production. Collaborate with diverse teams to setup and sustain Wet Etch processes. Defines and implements Wet Etch roadmaps, quality control (defects), failure analysis, and testing methodologies to meet customer demands.

  • Participate in development of intellectual property and equipment improvements. Work effectively with the equipment supplier to identify shortcomings, propose and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues.

  • Partner with area engineers, technicians, integration, shift group leaders, and management in order to deliver commitments for all tech nodes.

  • Work to gain in-depth knowledge of their materials, processes, and equipment to meet safety, quality, reliability, cost, yield, and product development timelines.

  • Drive improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment and operating personnel.

  • Train other process engineers and manufacturing technicians.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have PhD degree with 3+ years of experience or a MS degree with 5+ years experience in Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields

  • Semiconductor experience in the wet etch area.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consumable screening and supply chain management

  • Processing techniques, materials, and metrology relevant to Wet Etch

  • Ability to conduct wet etch characterization experiments on both small sample scale and full production scale

  • Experience with material characterization techniques.

  • Experience in data analysis and statistical process control
