Job Description

F11x Litho Metrology Process Development Engineer who will be part of Intel's HVM fabrication process development team and will be responsible for driving innovation for next generation of optical interconnect products (Silicon Photonics) as well as working on Optane Memory and Silicon Bridge products.

Job Duties:

You will play a critical role in the existing and next generation Silicon Photonics, Non-volatile memory, and Silicon Bridge products, their fabrication processes improvements, and HVM solutions.

  • Define roadmaps to meet requirements, goals and milestones for existing and new technology processes.

  • Define and establishes flow, procedures, and required equipment to develop new devices or products.

  • Plans and conducts experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle.

  • Participates in development of intellectual property through white papers and product qualification through NPIs; Drives improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment and operating personnel.

  • Able to select and develop process on existing and new process tool platforms.

  • Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.

  • Develops strategy to resolve difficult problems and establishes systems to deal with these problems in the future.

  • Trains production/receiving engineers for transfer to high volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Must have a Bachelors, MS, or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field.

  • 2+ years of lithography semiconductor industry experience including equipment ownership.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Theoretical and operational knowledge of CD scanning electron microscopes, overlay and registration tools is a nice to have.
