The Raytheon Missile and Defenses (RMD) Mechanical Products Team (MPT) is seeking an Engineering Executive Assistant to be a part of our admin team supporting diverse departments of technical and engineering professionals. This position can be a salary grade level of G03 or G04 based on the candidates qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibilities required for the position Position Responsibilities Include:
Organizing and prioritizing leadership calendars to minimize schedule conflicts
Planning and coordinating domestic/international travel
Preparing and submitting expense reports
Drafting departmental and directorate correspondence
Reserving and approving conference rooms
Arranging business lunches
Preparing security clearances and visitor requests
Working with the admin team to support directorate initiatives
Collaboration with Operations team and Talent Acquisition (TA) for onboarding of new hires to the directorate
Required Skills and Education:
Four (4) years professional experience working in an administrative environment
Experience with Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite including: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
High School diploma or related.
Desired Skills:
Six (6) years professional experience working in an administrative environment
Previous defense industry and/or company experience
Experience with web based tools such as SAP/APEX, and SharePoint
Highly proficient in organizing data and documents with the ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel information
Experience in a fast paced work environment that requires you to respond quickly and effectively to non-routine requests and situations
Self-starter with initiative and independent judgment for assisting management and employees
Ability to think ahead, anticipate challenges and mitigate
Ability to identify problems and develop corrective actions
Willingness to learn new skills
Working knowledge of the Web-TE online expense reporting systems and FSS policies
Familiarity with ITAR restrictions as related to Defense Contractors
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
An Associate's Degree or some college is desirable
