eSeries - Advanced Technology

The Air force has announced a new weapons system designator, the e series. This is a true paradigm shift, systems being considered for acquisition will be designed, developed and manufactured on a digital foundation. According to Air Force officials, an eSeries digital acquisition program will be a fully-connected, end-to-end virtual environment that will produce an almost perfect replica of what the physical weapon system will be.

Raytheon Missiles & Defense engineers are advancing technologies and skills to meet and overcome these challenges. Were using state-of-the art expertise, our decades of experience and company resources to accelerate development of weapons by investing in new infrastructure, people and technology. Fielding these weapons is vital to our national security.

The company is pursuing several e programs with complementary, versatile capabilities to include the Stand in Attack Weapon SiAW and other classified efforts.

Job Description

If driving and shaping the future of RMD in a fast-paced environment appeals to you, then you should consider a Program Management role in the Advanced Air Warfare Systems.

Raytheon Technologies is seeking an e Series Program Manager for its Advanced Technologies division. This individual in this role is responsible for developing program execution strategies as well as developing and implementing specific program capture strategies relevant to the Advanced Air Warfare systems. The selected candidate will work directly with the Mission Area Director, AT senior leadership, and portfolio program teams to develop and maintain the integrated portfolio strategy. The individual will manage the Selling, B&P, and Business Capture budgets required to execute the strategy; coordinate proposal strategy and early gate documentation; advance Intellectual Property retention; identify opportunities for licensing revenue; develop contracting approaches to improve program capture; coordinate cross-business unit activities in support of the Directorate; and develop long term investment strategies. The individual will also play a key role in developing customer briefings and facilitate the development of white papers and proposals in support of new business capture.

The individual shall report to the Advanced Air Warfare Systems Director and be supporting capture activities across the portfolio.

This position requires a current Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications you must have:
  • A minimum of 12 years of business, contracting, program, or project management professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting capture efforts, strategy development, and proposal execution
  • Experience in capturing technology development contracts
  • Demonstrated experience with Intellectual Property management
  • Experience with contract formulation and contracting strategy
  • Experience working with Federal acquisition process
  • Must be available to travel domestically on a monthly basis as needed
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management or STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
  • United States Citizenship
  • A current US DoD Top Secret SSBI Security Clearance

  • Experience working with Federal acquisition process

  • Masters Degree preferred in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Experience conducting International Business
