Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, security and civil markets where youll be part of a global team working together to solve some of the most demanding challenges on the planet. We are the world's largest developer, producer and integrator of weapon systems. In fact, we've produced over one million missiles in our history. Military forces in more than 50 countries look to us for a high-quality product portfolio that includes missiles, smart munitions, projectiles, kinetic kill vehicles and directed energy weapons. We are able to accomplish this feat because our employees live our Values of Trust, Respect, Collaboration, Innovation and Accountability. Diversity is a part of our culture and a key to our success. When world-class talent works together in a place that is respectful and inclusive, we solve some of the world's hardest problems.
We know that a diverse company is a strong company. The people of Raytheon Technologies come from different backgrounds. We value our different perspectives and styles of tackling the worlds most complex challenges and toughest threats. Through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), our employees are empowered to impact business results, build professional networks, advocate for causes that matter to them and contribute to their local communities. Diversity of thought is critical to the future of innovation. We leverage these unique voices to generate solutions toward a united and singular purpose: to define the future of aerospace. The Test Equipment and Environments Center (TE&EC) is within the Systems Integration & Test directorate at RMD. The Test Equipment and Environments Center (TE&EC) includes all of the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test on all Raytheon Missile Defense (RMD) products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including: test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. The ideal candidate must possess a strong working knowledge of systems model development utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and techniques in support of the development of Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) test environments. The candidate must also possess the ability to develop and generate stakeholder use cases, context diagrams, sequence diagrams, block diagrams, specifications, integration plans, acceptance test plans, and various document artifacts utilizing publishing tools. Identification of requirements compliance and performance of requirements gap analysis is also a key skill required. As a senior engineering leader and member of the TE&E team, the successful candidate will lead the development of new Test Environments (TEn) for some of the most technologically advanced weapon systems in the world. The qualified candidate must be a systems thinker able to see the big picture and coordinate across all engineering teams to define, design, and document TEn capabilities and requirements with an eye towards how prime hardware should be tested at every level (component to All-Up-Round). The candidate will also perform system level integration of custom or Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) circuit card assemblies or test equipment to interface real-time interfaces with weapon subsystems in a way that provides an operationally relevant stimulus to allow for weapon development integration and test. Performance of unit, subsystem, and system level integration of hardware with firmware and software system components Interconnect design and development of system level interfaces is also required.
