Job Description

As an Enterprise Cloud Architect your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Primarily responsible for deploying, and operating proof of concept and development installations that go far beyond traditional or current industry approaches.
  • Specify and refine the requirements of hardware, automation, management, monitoring, protocols, and device operating systems.
  • Create solutions that can be repeatedly deployed and operated at massive scale by applying their unique, multidisciplinary, practice to ensure the stability, scalability, performance, and operational success, often by building software systems that manage these aspects of the company's services.

This role requires software engineering knowledge to manage operational and reliability aspects of the systems they build, as well as operating system knowledge, including resource management, networking protocol stacks, file systems, and monitoring.


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field.

Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in:

  • The Information Technology (IT) field
  • A technical role within a medium to a large organization with experience in the Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Continued learning certifications, such as (but not limited to): VMWare Cloud Management and Automation, AWS Certification (Solutions Architect - Professional or Associate, Advance Networking, Security), Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Architect, Certified Kubernetes (Application Developer, Administration, Security), Docker Certified Professional, or similar.

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Leading or developing high quality, enterprise-scale efforts using a structured system development lifecycle.
  • Enterprise IT, including a minimum of 2 years of hands-on software development, operations, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture, with experience across the following areas: Cloud Solutions such as Azure/Azure Stack, Amazon Web Services/Outposts, VMware Stack // Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS, Apache Mesos, Azure Container Service, and Google Container Engine// Linux experience: Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, OpenStack middleware open-source implementations, or similar.
  • DevOps Tools such as (but not limited to): Node, NodeJS, Powershell, Python, Puppet, GIT, Ansible, AWS Cloudformation Stack/Stacksets, etc.
