WLE consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Job Summary: The Engineering Intelligence Analysis (EIA) Team supports Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) programs by pursuing synergies between the technical disciplines. Our responsibilities include providing the foundation for timely delivery of actionable data to our program customers, in addition to supporting the Engineering function by developing and/or maintaining software tools used for data analysis and tracking.
We are looking for an Engineering Statistical Intelligence Analyst to join our Reliability team located in Tucson, AZ
Your Overall Responsibilities Will Include:
Interpreting data and analyzing results using advanced statistical techniques
Deploying automated solutions for process improvement
Regularly interacting with Engineering, Quality & Mission Assurance, Supply Chain, and Program Management for 'best-in-class" solutions
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Developing and implementing data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
Working closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
Leading or participating in cross functional projects and initiatives
Leading or participating in Failure Review Boards (FRB) and/or Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action (FRACA) activities
This position can be a Salary Grade G08 or a Salary Grade G09 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. An advanced degree can be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Masters is equal to 2 years of experience or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.
Qualifications You Must Have: Education: Bachelors Degree. An additional 2 years of relevant professional experience may be substituted for each 1 year of college.
Employment Experience:
4+ years experience with statistics or using statistical packages for data analysis (e.g. Excel, SPSS, SAS, Python, PowerBI, R, Tableau, JMP, Kinaxis, etc.)
Experience with Process Improvement activities such as Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action (FRACA) or Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA).
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
