JMET is a rare security engineering group within Apple IS&T. We provide critical services for the company across every product line. From manufacturing to customer facing, our services span across the entire lifecycle of most Apple hardware. We are responsible to design, implement and support the ongoing need to improve customer safety and privacy by providing security services that are tightly coupled with hardware. Many of our services are seen in iOS Security Guide or publicly discussed on Internet forums. As an engineer, you will participate in initiatives that are critical to the success of upcoming product launches and product security initiatives. You will also work with large cross functional teams to align the expectations and validate deliverables

Key Qualifications

  • Familiarity with different project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc...)
  • Experience leading projects of all sizes (weeks to months)
  • Proficient at organizing and managing multiple projects running in parallel
  • Able to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Able to effectively use MS Office suite or similar applications and project management tools
  • Familiarity with financial aspects of projects
  • Travel to international manufacturing partners (can be up to 2 weeks at times)


We are looking for a Project Manager that will have the capability to drive projects through their lifecycle, e.g., concept, physical implementation, logical configuration, to operational support. They will ensure project documentation is complete, current, and accessible to team members.

Manage purchase requests and purchase orders while working with vendors to ensure on time delivery. Develop written procedures, engineering drawings, and other user documentation using the appropriate resources.

Effectively communicate relevant project information to management, cross functional project management, and/or multi-functional teams. Ability to make timely and effective decisions based on good judgment and alignment with business goals. You will be able to work with our global teams, able to independently drive projects while delivering to the given deadlines

You will join a hands-on development team that fosters creativity and generates novel solutions to deliver engineering excellence

Education & Experience

Education: BS/BA or equivalent. BSCS Preferred
