The selected candidate will be an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) responsible for all phases of the F-35 JSF Maintenance Training Devices (MxTD) IPT and products – Requirements Management, System Design, HW and SW Development, I&T, First Article Implementation, Production, Deployment, and Sustainment. As the EPM, you will lead a team of 100+ consisting of LM, contractor, and major subcontractors responsible for system, subsystem, component and part design/development and/or procurement, interfacing with product support teams to ensure the MxTD product complies with 3PC, export control, configuration management Release Management and information assurance requirements, while supporting multiple partner & Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. MxTD comprises (but is not limited to) the following products: Virtual Maintenance Training consisting of our Aircraft Systems Maintenance Trainer (ASMT) and Hardware part-task trainers consisting of our Ejection System Maintenance Trainer (ESMT), Weapons Loading Trainer (WLT), Landing Gear Maintenance Trainer (LGMT), Integrated Power Package Maintenance Trainer (IPPMT), and Engine Lift Fan Removal and Installation Trainer (ELFRIT) as well as the associated development environments/labs located in Orlando and at Eglin AFB. Responsibility includes technical oversight of 2 major subconstractors responsible for the ASMT Virtual Environment as well as the WLT/ESMT Fuselage Assemblies.

The selected candidate is also responsible for generation and upkeep of all MxTD documentation, MxTD reports and status information, all associated contract cost, schedule and technical management (SDD, LRIP and annualized sustainment), all proposal activities associated with MxTD, metrics identification and management (to assure successful project results), staff supply management, JPO customer interface, Aero customer interface, interface to multiple country PMs and Country Integration Leads, and creation of ad hoc information and briefings as needed

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related master’s degree
Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience supporting the systems engineering discipline addressing challenging DOD and/or commercial requirements for systems, and product design architectures. Proven leadership experience with demonstrated accomplishments and career growth in the area of complex, IT based, sustainment infrastructure deployment, system development/integration/test, and project leadership is highly desirable. Previous department level management experience considered a plus. Demonstrated expertise in System Engineering process with a focus on development of products and manufacturing including transition of designs through product deployment for the DOD market is desirable

Desired skills
Training and or Simulation background, familiarity and/or experience with complex IT and hardware design based virtual and part task trainers, and previous maintenance training development or support experience a plus. Strong System engineering and Integration experience with complex real time systems including network and operating system infrastructures. Demonstrated expertise in System Engineering process with a focus on development of products and manufacturing including transition of designs through product deployment for the DOD market is desirable. Formal Program/Project Management training and experience as well as experience managing major subcontractors is a plus
