Key Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of program/project management
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
  • Naturally accountable and responsible
  • Able to lead multiple projects at any given time working across many teams
  • Self-starter, ambitious, disciplined, self-sufficient
  • Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings)
  • Strong technical proficiency with bonus points for data center infrastructure buildout experience; networking, systems, DB and storage

Description

You will join the Hardware Team developing Apple's next generation technologies! As an Engineering Program Manager (EPM), you will primarily focus on the following duties:
- We work with multi-functional partners both internal and external to Apple to capture requirements, run implementation, and drive delivery of projects. Deliver complex projects under demanding timelines
- Lead all aspects of multiple projects including scope,requirements, timelines, risks, communications,and resource allocation
- Define business, functional, and reporting requirements, often writing them yourself
- Own overall cross-functional project schedules including deliverables from other Apple team
- Take a role in improving how projects are run and executed
- Be a great partner both within Hardware Engineering and with our partners in corporate IT, Legal, Finance, Operations, and other organizations within and outside of Apple

Education & Experience

BS in Engineering. MS or PhD preferred.
