Job Description

Intel's Windows Systems and Software organization within the Client Computer Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Engineering Operations Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the engineering team with program management, operations, and procurement. You will be joining a high-performing agile team of developers, validation engineers, and test automation developers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hardware procurement, managing hardware demand requests, managing and tracking hardware inventory, managing databases and developing metrics, forecasting lab purchase requirements, and creating and maintaining training documentation for engineering.

An ideal candidate will exhibit the following:
- Able to work in ambiguous environment and on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Independently owns large and complex tasks and drives to resolution
- Recognizes problems and proposes solutions
- Knows when to escalate and ask for help
- Independently finds experts and seeks training to overcome challenges and obstacles
- Has a high sense of customer obsessions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess a minimum of either:

1) a GED/High School Diploma with 8 + years of direct industry experience,

2) a non-STEM Associate's degree with 6+ years of direct industry experience, or 3) a non-STEM Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience.
- 6+ years of experience in program/project management and/or operations
- 2+ years of experience with Hardware'

-2+ years of experience with Program Management

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HW demand forecasting
- Experience managing inventories
- Experience with creating metrics and analyzing trends
- Experience with forecasting and budgeting
- Experience creating wikis, share points, and other team collaboration spaces and documentation
