Job Description

As a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering (or a related field) and 6+ years of experience, -OR- Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering (or a related field) and 4+ years of experience, -OR- PhD and 2+ years of experience in the following:

  • System level use cases and underlying IP level architecture and micro-architecture details
  • GPU/CPU architecture, Memory fabric, Caches Coherency, PCIe
  • Post Silicon validation of large SOC preferably Server/GPU class of SOC
  • Technical management

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in:

  • Intel architecture and/or Intel Chipset
  • Protocols like DDR, HBM, PCIe, Cache Coherency
  • Power Management, RAS, On-chip Security
  • Software development using C/C++/Python, demonstrated proficiency with Python
  • Hardware lab with test equipment, Debuggers (Intel Target Probe/Lauterbach), Logic analyzer, Protocol exercisers or test stations.
  • Have driven at least one post-silicon project in the past from Pre-silicon phase to product launch.
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills including functional and performance issues across HW/SW domains
  • Experience in working with multi-site projects.
