Come join the Intel Validation Engineering Group. Our Server Functional Validation Team is looking for System Validation Manager for leading and driving highly motivated team. Team is responsible for developing validation methodologies, creating validation test plans and test contents, executing post silicon validation, and debugging failures during the post silicon validation phase for the high end server products. In this role, it is expected to have a broad technical understanding of features and requirements on multiple areas of computer architecture and system design, technical test content development, and you'll be required to interface with our partners in Architecture, Silicon Design, and Pre-silicon Verification, System Software, BIOS, and Hardware Platform Design.

As a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.


Minimum Qualifications

- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 10+ years of experience in system validation. With 2+ years in technical management.


Excellent grasp in understanding system level use cases and underlying IP level architecture and micro-architecture details
- Knowledge of GPU/CPU architecture, Memory fabric, Caches, PCIe
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, program management skills and a good team player.
- Experience in working with multi-site projects.
- Experience with Post Silicon validation of large SOC preferably Server/GPU class of SOC
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills including functional and performance issues across HW/SW domains

Preferred Qualifications
- Intel architecture and/or Intel Chipset Experience
- Understanding of protocols like DDR, HBM, PCIe, Cache Coherency
- Knowledge on Power Management, RAS, On-chip Security
- Experience in software development using C/C++/Python, demonstrated proficiency with Python.
- Experience with hardware lab with test equipment, Debuggers (Intel Target Probe/Lauterbach), Logic analyzer, Protocol exercisers or test stations.
- Have driven at least one post-silicon project in the past from Pre-silicon phase to product launch.
